Welcome to Praesta Points

Two of our Partners, Robin Linnecar and Peter Shaw, have pooled their experiences of how to get business benefits from executive coaching in a new book that is trailed in this issue.

Business benefits are rarely far from the attentions of Finance Directors. Ian Angell has coached many of them and shares his experience of the issues that come up.

Back in May, Times 2 featured some of the work we do with senior women. You can ask for copies of that and see more recent press coverage in this edition as well as meet our new colleague, Elizabeth Anderson.

Business Coaching: Achieving Practical Results Through Effective Engagement

Peter Shaw and Robin Linnecar - "Business Coaching"

Their book cuts through the myth and hyperbole giving straight answers to key questions.

It illustrates a range of contexts where coaching can be of particular value: e.g. becoming a Board member; taking on a senior management role; tackling specific problems which are holding an individual back; improving performance; increasing personal impact; and living through turbulence.

The book is now available in all good book shops or direct from Wiley. It is available through Amazon for £10.49. More»
